Emily Sernaker is a writer and human rights professional. She holds a MFA in Creative Writing, a MSc in Equality Studies and BA in Creative Writing and Social Justice. Her work has appeared in Ms. Magazine Online, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, McSweeney's, The Sun, Rattle, New Ohio Review, Beltway Poetry Quarterly, GOOD Media, The Rumpus, Brooklyn Poets and Politics and Prose District Lines. She is a 2019 Lincoln City Fellowship recipient and a Pushcart Prize nominee.
