He led user experience to startup Muse: the brain-sensing headband, and he’s currently consulting for Dr. Richard Davison at Healthy Minds Innovations, Shinzen Young at Brightmind, Angela Duckworth at Character Lab, and many more. As the inventor of Sonic Cradle, he authored early academic publications about persuasive technology for mindfulness. Jay teaches design at major educational institutions and he has been recognized and featured internationally (Harvard, ACM, MIT, UToronto, Forbes, Fast Company, TED, etc).
