The Associate Director (AD) is the center’s chief operating officer, responsible for a wide range of duties directly related to the overall health of the organization. The AD provides exceptional leadership and effective management in all areas of internal operations including organizational development, operational and financial management, personnel issues, and the professional growth of the staff as individuals and as a team.
This position also manages critical institutional processes, including relationships with division/department/UMMS administration, preparation and oversight of annual work plans, employment contracts and human resource functions. The majority of the center’s program directors and managers report directly to the AD.
