February Meditation Challenge: You In?

During the month of February, author and spiritual teacher Sharon Salzberg is inviting a diverse group of people from all over North America to participate in the meditation program she lays out in her new book, Real Happiness: The Power of Meditation: A 28-Day Program.

Among the participants will be a firefighter, a comedian, an investment banker, a teacher, an activist and a human rights worker. Some are new to meditation, some have been meditating for years, and of course many fall somewhere in between. Each will be asked to reflect on their experiences—which will no doubt range from pleasant to difficult—and then blog and/or tweet about them. All feedback will be posted on Salzberg’s website. Organizers hope the blogs will inspire others to also take part in the challenge.
