Pacific San Diego Magazine offers this blog post by "Dr. Jenn" (Jennifer Gunsaullus), a sex and relationship expert who has been integrating mindful practices into her sex therapy and couples counseling work. She says mindfulness is "the foundation for all personal growth." Read the article here.
Dr. Jenn says research is being conducted regarding how mindfulness might improve sex lives. Early results show that it "seems to be beneficial for women with low desire, vulva pain, and emotional distress from past sexual trauma." There is also anecdotal evidence that it is valuable for sex “addiction,” erectile dysfunctions, and boredom.
